We are located in Calenzano (Florence), loc. Carraia.

HOW TO REACH US: BY TRAIN – BUS – PLANE (we suggest a car rental)
By plane
Borgo di Vezzano is 15 Km far from the “Amerigo Vespucci” Florence Airport. We suggest to take the shuttle Volainbus to the central train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella and from there take the Sita bus to Barberino del Mugello (through Calenzano). The bus stop to get off is in the very centre of Carraia village. Alternatively it is possible to take the train from Santa Maria Novella to Prato or Calenzano and from there use the shuttle paying service of the farmhouse.
By train
From Santa Maria Novella central station (15 km), continue to Prato or Calenzano. From there it is possible to use the shuttle paying service of the farmhouse.
By car
From A1 motorway and from the Airport, through the A11 motorway link, in proximity of Florence exit at the Calenzano/Sesto Fiorentino tollbooth. Continue for 6 km in the direction of Barberino del Mugello.
Activities
The farmhouse is just a few km far from Barberino Designer Outlet, making the stay of shopping lovers more enjoyable, while speed lovers have the chance to go through the Mugello countryside and reach the International Racing Circuit of Mugello. Those who wish to enjoy a nice outdoor sightseeing to discover the beautiful landscapes of Mugello, only need to choose between the Lake of Bilancino, 15 km, or San Piero a Sieve, Scarperia and Borgo San Lorenzo villages from which several routes start for trekking through the evocative woods, or horse riding or bicycle.
The golfers are spoilt for choice between the beautiful fields a few kilometres far from our farmhouse, like the 18-hole Le Pavoniere in Prato (20 km), Poggio dei Medici in Scarperia (25 km) and the Golf of Ugolino in Florence (30 km).
